The French Alps are split into 6 areas (Jura, Northern Alps, Southern Alps, Vosges, Auverge and Pyrenees) with the 2 largest and most popular being in the Northern and Southern Alps. These two are split into the regions of Haute Savoie, Savoie, Isere and Hautes Alpes.
